Classes are free and when students qualify, their test is also free.
Childcare is now being offered free at the YMCA on Tuesday mornings and Thursday evenings for adult education students. Students must go to the YMCA to register their children.
If a student needs to retake any part of the test, the MCEF will give them a voucher to pay for it. Individuals who are interested in earning their diplomas can call the office to set up a time for orientation.

The Adult Education Center is open with COVID 19 safety procedures with Zoom and online classes. Call 745-5111 to make an appointment to begin classes. Tests continue to be given. The MCEF and the UW of McMinn and Meigs County are in partnership to keep this invaluable program going through paying teachers' salaries two days a week, purchasing supplies and paying for test vouchers, etc.....
