Several years ago the McMinn County Education Foundation and the McMinn County Adult and Family Foundation merged. The MCEF took over the work of the MCA&FF including: keeping the center open two extra days a week with the funds provided through the partnership with the United Way of McMinn and Meigs Counties, paying for a custodian, who is a client from Tri-Counties, and cleaning supplies, helping with vouchers for students to take their tests, graduation needs, paying the phone bill, and other things that help the program run smoothly. Pictured below are two groups of graduates and current classes from the program at the McMinn County Justice Center thanks to the volunteer work of Bug Cooley and Jack Stout. There are also photos from the Clark Street site of students and teachers in action as they are daily.
